So sorry for the delayed response. I just got my tumblr blog to work thanks to my firstborn.

Yes I have gotten babies to latch even around three months. The main thing to do though is keep your supply up as well as when you use a bottle, you should pace the feedings so that the baby learns to feed more slowly. Having said that I realize that many moms actually have pretty fast let-downs of their milk but than their babies can pause and breathe.

You need to do lots of skin to skin and prbably baby wearing especially for a time frame that you will not be too busy with other committments.

How are you keeping your supply up? can you add anything esle to try and get it into oversupply? Lots of questions but that also helps me to see your situation better
